- 1977 -
D&D Contractors opened with a one-room office in an abandoned dairy barn and a yard.
- 1987 -
D&D added sheet metal operations with the acquisition of Gallagher Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning.
- 1989 -
D&D acquired seven Contractors' Licenses in Nevada, California, Utah, and obtained an Asbestos Abatement license in Nevada.
- 1992 -
D&D Contactors became D&D Roofing and Sheet Metal, Inc., the only roofing contractor in Northern Nevada with a full-service, custom sheet metal shop.
- 1997 -
D&D Roofing and Sheet Metal, Inc. expanded to the residential marketplace, when it acquired the assets of Van Dyne and Sons Roofing.
- 2002 -
D&D Roofing acquired Carson City's most respected firm, Don James Roofing Company. The company began serving the bustling Carson, Dayton, Gardnerville, and Minden areas.
- 2007-
D&D Roofing and Sheet Metal, Inc. became 100% Employee-Owned!
